Ok, The Third Brakelight On My RR/5AT/Navi Flooded The Inside Rear Window With Red Light At Night And I Didn't Like That. I Took It To My Dealer And They Only Half Fixed It. Anybody Out There Readjusted Their Light Cover And Fixed It For Good? I Can Take It Back, But I Am Not A Patient Person. There Is Never Enough Time To Do It Right, But Plenty Of Time To Do It Again.

I had a similar problem, but dealer was able to fix on the first try. Mine also rattled with the stereo.

 

Did you tint your rear window? Sometimes tints would make it reflect to your eyes.

If not, IMO, it should be possibly fixed by restoring back or re-ordering the cover of 3rd brake-light. Someone having he service manual may disclose how it is mounted... It could help...

Mine lights up most of the rear window too, its one of the many little things being handled on trip number 4 to the dealer.....

 

Does anyone know how to remove the third brake light?

And if so, is it easy?

My window tint dudes put huge water spots in there, and it's driving my nutzo!
