Thinking about a replacement for my TL?
Hey guys,
I have had my TL for almost 2 years now. I have an 04 with full A-Spec and stock rims with snows. It has served me well for 26,000 miles and other than rattles, been an extremely reliable car. I love all the toys and the 6-spd is sweet.
I just can't figure out what to get next. This is my daily driver and I have a sports car for nice days. I have already owned a 3 Series Bimmer, a 5 Series Bimmer, a G35 sedan and some SUVs. The only other car I can think of is an Audi A4 quattro? I looked at the new Lexus IS and need a larger back seat. That car is just a little too small. I don't want to spend over $40K.
I test drove a new Passat and it was very nice but the option packages suck. You can't get a 6-spd with any of the toys. I don't want to give up bluetooth or Nav. The only car that comes close to meeting all the criteria is another 3 series or an IS250 loaded. I don't want to give up a manual tranny.
I am looking for something with seating for 4 (two kids in back) and still fun to drive. Any suggestions would be most helpfull.

Hey mark I'm happy to read that your TL has served you well. I wish you the best of luck in your search for your next car. But this thread would be much better in Car Talk........thanks bro.
