^ after 3 yrs you'll be without a car and have to buy something again. Or 6 months after that same time frame you'll own your tl and can use that cash on something else.

If your monthly payment is greater then 15% of your income then don't do it. So unless you make over $3.5k, it will be a dumb decision to make.

Just went and drove the wrx, out the door for $34k with taxes tags and everything plus my five thousand dollar upside down which is included. Payments are only $200 a month and financing is all in my name, looks like this time tomorrow I should have 2013 blue wrx

Congrats. You definitely won't regret making the switch to turbo/AWD.

Good thing you listened to yourself.

Must have been a really good salesman.

And you are paying interest on sales tax?!?

Congrats. Enjoy it in good health.

I think you should create a progress thread in Car Talk once you get your car.

Also, this sort of thing tends to happen a lot. In another forum, a guy was asking if it was a good idea to buy a Sebring hardtop convertible. After 3-4 pages of everyone telling him no and the reason why he shouldn't, OP pulled the trigger on one.

^^Good choice. I was starting to wonder what military you were joining because when I was an E1-E3 there was no way in the world I would have been able to afford $570 a month. Even as an E-6 I don't want to spend that kind of change.

^^Disregard that. You already bought it........
