it seems like a lot of people have gone with the P2R spacers lately rather than the OE ones...any specific reason? ..maybe i missed the thread that said why...

Lets go to Moroso!!!

Moroso again ANYONE? I have seen one TL-S around my area in the past month. He had a NBP 07 AT with AEM CAI. I told him about the site. Still looking for someone with TL/TL-s that wants to go to moroso.

rimz: check out the thread by Excelerate in the Sponsored Sales area
P2R is a different material- people have difffering opinions of what is better
actual dyno and real life test of each side by side would be nice

moroso was not what i hoped for tonight

I got to run a lot but nothing better then 14.5 which I ran 3 times with traps of 99 every time. I just feel like if I am trapping 99 (one run I trapped 100) i should be getting better times. Launching the 6 MT is so hard. If the transition from first to second gear isnt good the entire run is screwed. I probably wont be going back to moroso until after I get the jpipe and some sort of exhuast mod, dont know what its going to be some combination of a straight pipe and mufflers well see what I can afford.

Just very dissapointing that I couldnt improve on the 14.4 I ran when the weather was just perfect tonight (55 degrees). A lot of people were having traction issues however, once these shitty michelens are toast Im gonna need some better tires to pull lower times.

Don't you have the 6MT TL-S? Don't they come with the Potenza RE030? Or was that an option which you didn't choose? May be that's one of the reasons. Also, at what rpm are you shifting at? And if possible, have an in car camera so that we can see your shifting action and may be from that some members can help you improve.

I will try and do that next time I go. The summer tire option did not come with my car but I know the 14.1 that c&d recorded had the summer tires.

What pressure should I be running in the front? Trapping that fast 14.0 should be attainable and not that difficult. There was an old mustang gt there trapping 100 running 14.0.

yeaa, I think the tires play a major role here as the non-summer tires on the TL's aren't that great at all, worth at least 2 tenths if not more.
