Amazon Amazon

They look nice lol. At autozone the OEM rotors come out to 250 all around so I figured these were better, but I thought I'd ask anyways?

I stock the Brakemotive "Kinetic" brand rotors, which are manufactured exclusively by Power Stop for us, and the pads are the genuine Power Stop Z16 Evolution ceramic pads available for $145.00 shipped. This is the price with your forum member discount. If you have any questions, please send me a PM!

Hot diggity damn that's a good deal, autozone wanted like 150 for the front set of rotors and 100 for the back, that's without pads as well. I'll be PM'ing you very soon, as soon as I can get my transmission checked out.

We offer brake packages for almost all the Acura models.

http://store.excelerateperformance.c...863&make=ACURA

The packages include Powerslot/STOPTECH performance rotors and STOPTECH Performance pads. All of the rotors have a black e-coating on the hubs and vanes and an advanced alloy composition. The Powerslot slotted rotors for the front of most Acuras also have a Power Alloy composition and a curved vane construction, which helps reduce heat in the brake system. The STOPTECH Performance pads are a para-aramid compound, which has great initial bite and long-term performance and lower dust and noise than most aftermarket brake pads.

Excelerate, your package is like 250 more than Brakemotive's and still 150 more than the amazon link I posted.

I have that Powerstop Kit, but I bought it from Buybrakes.com for $273 shipped. For the price, it is a great buy. I did just have the front rotors replaced under warranty though after 4 months of having them on the car. Laurie from Buybrakes and Will from Powerstop were both extremely helpful in the replacement. I have not any issues since then.

Exactly, every review I have seen on the Brakemotive package has been great, so I saw no reason to not try it out if something goes wrong it was only $145 and I'll move on to something else.

Nice color on the calipers. The decals are upside down though. Every Brembo caliper (or any other caliper with lettering) I've seen always has the bottoms of the letters facing the wheel hub.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, lol. But regardless if Excelerate's brakes are better, I'm a college freshman, and my paycheck for this week was 85 bucks. I'm gonna go cheaper on this one.

Still concerned if these ceramic pads will be noisy like Hawk ceramic pads ?

They can't be resurfaced so they may actually cost more money. If you're buying them for looks, go ahead but don't think they're going to increase stopping performance in any measurable way. Good fluid and SS lines would be a better investment.

Plus, reduced surface area on such a small brake may actually decrease braking performance.
