Thanks for all the help - just traded 05 TL for 05 RL
I just wanted to say thanks for all the support and great info you folks have given me in the past 6 months.
This is a great forum with tons of useful info - helped me decide on my 05 AM TL.
I was planning on adding some A-Spec equipment on the TL, but with the deals currently being offered on the RL, and the fact that my wife had a temporary loss of judgement, i decided to get a RL.
With out a doubt, the number one reason for the switch was the SH-AWD. I couold certainly live without all of the extra bells and whistles.......this car really is amazing at powering out of tight corners. It is also extremely solid.
Both cars are great in their own ways!

That car is awsome. My dad paid 15k more for the TL than he wanted to pay for any car period, so this time around he passed on the RL. That car is awsome and I hope you enjoy.

the sales on 05 RLs have been posted on the RL community - particularly in Southern CA. Heard of deals in the $42.5K range....
There is a $2500 incentive on Lease RLs.
In Scottsdale they have a few RL that are "old" and the inventory is kind of large....
I got mine for dealer invoice (approx 44,500). The differnce was about 17K.
All in all I feel a little stupid to trade a car so fast, but I am fortunate in that I could afford the the hit on the trade in.
You save a significant amount of tax when you trade (ie you only pay tax on the difference) - i would have needed to get get 29500 for it to balance out if I sold the car private party.
check out the RL website for more info.
as far as speed goes - i think the TL feels alot quicker (but am still in the break-in period) will post later.

Sorry to hijack, but the clicking clutch has been bothering me for the past few days.
All the Acura dealers I called said its normal but I am not so sure. A Honda dealer told me that it didn't sound normal, but for them to look at it, it would be $95 because they don't do warranty work on Acuras. What did Acura tell you about the clicking clutch?
