taking in car for service..
i need the A1 service done so i made an appointment for the service and headliner rattle.
they said the car will be with them for half a day...i asked for a loaner car but they refused and said they dont give loaner cars for half days
is that common? are all acura dealerships like that...
ive heard bmw gives loaners just for oil changes which take ~2hrs
how long does it usually take to fix the headliner problem?

Your dealer probably only has the limited loaners in the lot... bad...
A1 service should be less than the half of hour, it could be up to an hour if they give you some detailed checkup (hopefull it costs you nothing).
Since the headliner issue has no official solutions yet, your dealer may spend more time in dealing with/figuring out how to fix it.
