I was just at the dealer and asked if the led assy is the same on the 04-06 and the 07-08.

His reply was this:
04-06 = 07-08 Type S tails led units
07-08 base model = different led unit with red leds instead of white(?)

Is this correct?

Anyone put base 07 tails on a 04-06 TL?

Sorry - missed these threads.

Looks like the leds are all the same except the base 07-08 have a different pattern but they can mix and match with the other leds.
