Switchback Questions
So I did a search and read up on switchbacks but there was couple questions I need answered. First off all did they fix the issue with the switchbacks needing to warm up first before they actually work? I know this was a problem initially on the new 3/4" 30 LED SMT Tower. Has anyone tried the 48 LED SMT Tower? Does it have the same issues?

I have the 60 LED SMT switchbacks from v-leds and they work fine, no warm up necessary, direct fit, just plug and play. You do still need to install load resistors if you don't want the hyper-blinking to occur.

48 m-smt size: 7443 (perfect fit)

6ohm resistors (if you don't want hyper flashing turn signals, do a search for resistor installation)
So far no problems with mine, I didn't use the turn signal immediately after install though, left it running for about 15 min to play it safe

i just got mine today from V-leds and the only 7443 they have are 48led. ABP_04tl suggested gettign the 30's cuz of the difference in boards but only Autolum. has them and as i hold Rocky as the LED Guru i opted to never buy from autoluminate. they do have 60 led switchbacks but not 7443 according the the V-leds website.

So other models come in 60LED, wow that's crazy. The lights look like DRLs on that Toyota truck!
Hmm why is there a delay between the 2 cycles? I have the older 20LED model and it works directly without a delay. I wouldn't have replaced them unless they started to slowly burn out. I haven't installed my 48LED ones yet but I wonder if it operates like that video. I hope not. I hear many people say there is a delay with the signaling cycle. Is everyone experiencing that?
Has anyone installed the "LED protectors" to help protect against surges? Has anyone experienced a failure after using them? I bought them and I wonder if they will help?
