I just got a pair of1157 switch back led's from autolumination and it looks like it wont fit into my 08 TL-S. Did i order the wrong size bulb? If someone can help me clearify that would be much appreciated.

^ i dont know how to post pics cuz im a n00b but the end of the bulb doesnt look like it will connect its like more rounded, i guess what im tryin to say that its not like wedge like...but i swore i read somewhere that it was 1157 !!

 

Go to the definative led thread or hit up Kennedy he knows all about them. You may have to dremmil a little or order the Tower III those are the ones that I have and they fit right in. I have an 05 don't know if that really matters or not.

 

I have the 08 Type S and they fit fine for me.

 

yah so i just tried itand it fits...but as i was trying to get it in he hole i guess the bulb somehow unlocked and now........it fell out of the socket and its stuck inside my headlight...:S im totally screwed. Any suggestions?

 

Jack up car an pull wheel so you have some room.

magnet on a stick or gum on a stick...

Seriously.

and use a little electrical tape around the bulb base and the socket to prevent this in the futuure

 

thank you, im gonna try it but i dunno if it can come back out of the hole cuz i kinda had to jam it in... i got the 20 LED tower so it was kinda fat, did you have the same problem kennedy??

 

I just ordered the switchback leds for my 2gen TL... so they should fit in like any other bulb like right? haha i hope so, anyways they blink normally to right? lol...

how long did it take for you to receive your LEDs?

 

take off the front bumper and take out the headlight..it isn't that bad..just takes about an hour..

 

took a lil over a week but i live in canada
