Switchback ?
wassup george, the 30 LED 20mm one is the one you want, it's 7443 and it fits your stock housing.
30 Led SMT Tower
Measures 3/4" (20mm diameter x 2-5/15" overall height)
Note: The 7443 switch back has a standard 3/4" diameter head to match all standard 7443 housings
the 20 LED one with the bigger diameter is the one you DONT want. This fits the type s housing.

They're huge but don't get too hot.

Yeah... I'm gonna have my front bumper off tomorrow to get it painted but I'm gonna be leaving my car at the shop. Theres a couple things I wanna get done while its off but I'm pretty limited, time-wise.
When I (finally) open up my headlights, I might as well throw in some switchbacks.

I emailed Chris at Autolumination and asked if he could confirm which switchback LEDs will fit the turn signal housing on the TL. He said to go with the 30LED 7443 and use the 6ohm resistor.
Mine shipped today. If you want to hold off until I get it I'll let you know for sure if it fits.

its all good bro...thanks tho..... i saw brians when he came to my shop and i loved it.... i just didnt know what was what because everyone i do something for had something diff installed..... i know nim had resistors that didnt get hot n so did brian... so before i go nuts ordering im gonna pulse the lines so i can get a good reading on what the lines actually carry out so when it comes time for the resistors i can get the most compatible ones.

dude everyday that goes by the standard 7443's drive me nuts i was ok with the ones in the rear cuz i have the ghost look tail lights but the front is too yellowish....i thought ehh if they look as bright as the rear ones or if they were orange, ill leave em.... but no way do they even come close.

I ordered the same part for mine and it fit perfectly.....
^ frankie mounted them on the side by his sidemarkers where its not near anything or touching anything.
also, he didnt order 6ohm resistors. the reason for that is because you would have to order 4 of them and install 2 in the front and 2 in the back. the 6ohm resistors will work for the front 2 switchbacks only.
he ordered the 3ohm's which will allow leds blinkers to work in the front and the back to fix the fast blinking. but since he only has the front 2 as led blinkers the 3ohm resistors work fine.
i mean why splice all 4 when you can just slice just 2 wires haha... so the 3ohm's is a better and cheaper alternative than the 6ohms. i have switchbacks installed on my 2nd gen, but im using only 2, 3ohm resistors installed in the rear. Chris told me that the 6ohm resistors are the resistors that i should order, but jjasha here on the boards told me that the 3ohm's will work fine.

btw, the light bulb sizes and item number is different on the type s than the base tl? because i know that the product number on the 04-08base tl's are 7443, but i've seen on other threads that the type s is 1157... is that really true or am i just imagining things.
