At one point, we had a tried to get groupbuy for the switch-back bulbs, now they are available in our wedge base for the trun-signals, (7443) here is the link:

i will try to see if i can get a grop buy set up, i will start a poll to see how many members want them and then see for how much of a discounted price i can get them for.

 

those are the same as the ones on SuperBrightLEDs site. I don't think they fit because a few members have tried.

 

some members willing to chime in on the not-fitting issuse? BTW, i just looked at superbrightleds.com and could not find the switch-backs.

I emailed tec-toyz about LED turn signals and never got an answer back for that particular question.

1) They don't fit. See above... Maybe with a dremel, but I'm not going to do that.

2) Tec-Toyz and superbrightleds does not sell these.

3) Autolumination has stated in the past they have no intention of becoming a vendor here. No GB.

4) Yes, you'd need ressitors for these to work properly, if you could make them fit.

 

kennedy,, thank u for searching on the matter, i am sorry that i did not check before opening the thread. Mods, you may close the thread if you wish to add it to the 3g garage for future refrence so idiots like me don't get in the matter.

 

As said, I have them sitting right here on my desk and NO they don't fit......I tested them though and I LOVE how they look so I am the idiot who is going to attempt to dremel the housing to make them fit. Not anytime soon, it will be a spring project....too cold already to keep modding the car. Yeah I'm a wuss.
