Swift, this is for you.
Went up against a fellow A-L.com member, and I pulled one of their bolt-on Type II coupe! He had a head start because I didn't know he was going to go at it, but after I heard him chirp it off the line, I hit it and started pulling away. BayAreasFinest and Ken were riding with me, and he had one passenger, another A-L member who flew all the way here from somewhere else(
) to hang out here for the weekend! Would've pulled harder had I not had passengers, converter wasn't slipping, my axles weren't about to snap, and if I wheel bearings had any grease in them, haha. I've got the symptoms of bent and/or fracturing axles...

P.S. Not really worth mentioning but pulled a bus on a bolt-on 5G Prelude with a bigger guy in my car Friday. It's on video, but the damn camera man was looking at a Civic because he didn't know we were going to go at it.

On another note, my car's getting slower and slower... I had a horrible time at the track yesterday and couldn't beat my old Infineon times, with my trap speed getting lower and lower,
, but my times staying about the same. I'm stuck in the 15s... Damn.

Ouch, yeah V-tec motors are known to get slower as they get older.

I don't have VTEC... Anyhow, here's a list of the problems with my car ATM:
Bent axles
Grinding wheel bearings
Slipping TC
1-2 jerking tranny
All in all, the parts above have almost 254,000 miles on them, so I think I'm still doing pretty good at a track better suited for RWD and still shaving a full second off the brand new stock 1/4 times.
I'm also surprised I could hit 15.5 consistently even with the lower traps. That and an R/T of .010, haha.
