so i was driving home from work and i notice theres a G35 Sedan driving all crazy speeding and stuff.. its was the newer ones i believe with the chome on the trunk that looks like a deck lid spoiler but looks super weird..lol i think its 305 Hp.. so i he slowed down and i passed him he didnt do ne thing he just drove normal so we get to a light and the lights red so im braking and the light turns green and outta the corner of my eye i seem him coming up fast in my passenger mirror so i punch it and for my late reaction were dead even till he starts to pull on me a lil bit then i think he let off cuz i passed him..lol

i mean i didnt think i stood much of a chance but hey my accord held its own out there and i only got beat by maybe half a car not even..i have raced my friends older g35 coupe i raced him three times and beat him twice he beat me once that was a good run to.. but thought id share.. i dont know im bored rite now it happend like yesterday but what the hay.lol

nice runs. I have never raced the newer G35 with the HR motor but I know pretty much what would happen(I would lose!). I did race a older auto G35 coupe and was dead even with it from 0-90MPH. I had just intake at the time and he was stock. I felt pretty good about that race!

Indeed; I'm fairly certain any form of 2G Infiniti G should pretty much waste my 7G AV6. I witnessed a stock 07 G35X -- yup! 5AT carrying the added weight of an AWD system -- post a 14 sec flat (@100 mph) ET last year.

Yes, I have also seen that time with the AWD setup. I have also seen the RWD model post a 13.9@101MPH with the 5AT!

2G G35, otherwise 4G, but we know what you mean. ( I owed you one ) It seems that awd and the high brake tq ability was advantageous to that G's 1/4 mile run, and even had the same G but in RWD not run that time it will still likely pass beyond the 1/4 mile and from a roll. Altough some of the other models do run better, it's not a great basis for what the other models should do, each is another beast in it's own right, but agreed, faster than any 7G AV6, maybe a 6MT with basic bolts could hold it's ground.
