Used parts guide, '04-'06 only and to verify:
Acura OEM parts general engine assembly
10002-RDA-305 ($2953 list) '04-'06

Agree

OP IMO since you have a 05; I would just get another 05 engine.

Ok someone correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think you can use a 07-08 engine due to the fact that they use a different ECU than the 04-06.

You can use engine parts from the Type-S.

Just stick to the 04-06, but even better just the 05 since yours is a 05.

Honda has a tendency of change small things around from year to year.

^ the 07/08s do have a different ECU-The whole thing is prop way more trouble and costly than its worth.

I am interested in this as well. Other than the ECU, what are the engine differences in 07 08? Incredibly surprised how hard it is to find a straight answer. Bell housing bolt pattern different?

http://www.lkqonline.com/custom/prod..._ENG&year=2005

LKQ sells everything and anything off wrecked cars and are reputable for correct mileage, vin, etc. If you get something that is you dont like, they will even exchange it. They will even deliver it to your shop or house(possibly) I know the business for sure. If your looking into a whole assembly you may want to get a tranny too depending on your mileage and what you can find. Since the 05' had bad transmission's

Op first you have to order the motor then looking for a trusted shop/mechanic for the full swap.
