Anyone put a surfboard rack on a TL? If so can you recommened/advise what brand, where to buy best prices, etc.

BTW, can anyone in Jax teach me to surf?

 

There are a couple of different options you have when wanting to mount a surf board to the TL. You can go the cheap and easy way and use tie down, though that would likely cause roof scratches. If you want to go with something that is more reputable and trusted you chould mount a Thule rack on your TL and then get the HangTwo surf carrier. This is a more expensive option although you will be assured that the surf board will never come off the rack. Regardless of what others may think of the racks, you need one to haul around a surfboard without making a mess of your interior. You WILL NOT need to get the SRA (short roof adapter) if you opt for the Thule because load bar space is not an issue when dealing with surfboards.
