Guys just a heads up. Keep in mind there is a thin layer of Plastic protecting the LED panel on the sills make sure you pull it off. Just like the plastic on your new Phone or Blue ray player that pulls off.

 

I am sure the new DIY will follow Shortly with Pics. Install is a little different then the old ones. Also I included all the T-Taps you need. Again the new version sets have no Invertors to worry about.

Just got mine today. The paperwork says two sets of wires. In my bag there was only one set. Anyone else get just one? It also says 4 magnets. I don't see any.

I got my sills today. I was happy I got them then I got sad because I can't install them due to the damn rain.

 

i got mine earlier today...im gonna loo tonight to see where the wire for the door switch is so they only illuminate with the doors open.

 

Yay!!!! Got my sills today!!! Can't wait to get 'em installed. This is what I call starting the summer off right!!!!

Guys please double check your kits. I just spot checked the rest of the inventory I have. Some sets have 2 bundles of wires that have 2 black clips each. Some sets have 1 bundle of wires but all 4 black clips are there.

You should have 4 wires each with a black clip one for each sill. Sorry for the confusion I think everybody should have what they need just packed up a little different. Please get back to me and confirm.

 

this is the only wire i got from that pack.... I unraveled that wire and its just 2 black clips

tested them out under my hood to make sure they work install will be a breeze. the pics dont capture the blue as it is more vivid in person

does only the word ACURA light up in color, or does the whole background piece its on light up too?

can't tell if its the camera or if it really does light up the whole rectangle that the ACURA is written in

 

i have a quick question....are these sills suppose to light on constantly or do they turn off once the doors are shut?

for example when you open your doors the dome lights turn on with the sills and when the door the shut the dome lights and sills turn off together?
