THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO KNOW...HOW CAN THE TL BE MORE POWERFUL? WHAT THINGS CAN BE DONE TO IT TO GIVE IT MORE POWER AND BETTER HANDLING AND THAT'S IN A REASONABLE PRICE RANGE (for example, change intake, cpu chip or what?)...If anyone knows about this, please post a reply, thanks...

How the heck do you expect anyone to know? Have you driven the TL to think it lacks power that it needs a SC?

I do not think any supercharger, worth anything, is going to be cheap!

What the car has been out for all of 3 weeks don't really think that the after market developers work this quick. I think you should think about your questions before you ask them

You will probably be waiting couple months, before any aftermarket parts come out..

The Aftermarket support for the 2nd GEN was not that great, compared to accord, civic, etc...

Same with TSX.. But It seems they are making 60,000 each year, and I think more youngsters will buy it now, so the support might go up.

errrr. . . . yeah. . .film it if you ever race your dad and win. or even if u lose. post it. lol. i want to see.
I raced an early 90's 911 Carrera in my TL-S and won three straight lights. . . but i think it was a fluke or his car was way out of tune. If you want power, go for an M5 or a 'Vette. Maybe you could compete w/ the Turbo then. (if you have that much cash to burn. lol.)

I just want to learn to drive a straightshift and go get a test drive on a Cobra or a Corvette!!!! oh soo bad.

It's been like what 3 weeks since the car has come out and this guy wants a supercharger and aftermarket support lol. Its a family sedan that cost 35k and the people that buy these cars are usually people that are established and just want a nice car and not a race car =P just my opinion

the Jseries supercharger might fit if you take all the plastic out from the engine bay the engine code for the 04 TL is J32A3 so the SC might fit it would be good for about 90 HP. i think its about $4900

Perhaps if you attached some kind of Acme rocket pack to the back!

Dude, you need to take the $35k you were about to spend and enter the Betty Ford clinic to kick that habit of yours. A FWD, 3500lb, semi-luxury sedan is not going to: 1, beat; 2, hang around; 3, compete; 4, compare to a new 911 Turbo.

You gotta kick that crack shi+ Pookie, it kills... Come to think of it, the Coyote offs himself with that ACME rocket gadget as well. Stay away from gweempose's idea. I think he is just being a smart@$$, whereas I'm truly concerned over every new member's health...

If a supercharger is made for the 04TL, it won't be able to run much boost due to the TL's already high compression (11:1) engine. And, it would almost have to have an intercooler to cool
the charged air to prevent detonation. So, that would add up to
some serious $$$ for all the components + install ! Too bad Acura
couldn't make that an option for the A-SPEC, with lower compression pistons, larger fuel injectors, etc. !

Secstac, you don't seem to understand the importance of making a car different and better than the other 04 TL's. If you think about it, every one is going to have the stock and a good amount of people will have the navi and then a few will have the body kit also. Now from there, what else can you do to make your car different, possibly even make it BETTER? Supercharger, nice system, different rims, and sooo much more. The whole concept is to make it unique, not be a conformist!!! Who cares if it's a luxury car, you can still do soo much to it. Look at a Lexus GS, that's a luxry car, but how many cars are hooked up? A WHOLE LOT OF THEM, why because people see the potential that some cars have!!!! Therefore, I, too, when I get my TL, will want to make it different and possibly better than many of the "original" TL's because that's what it's all about!!!!!
