Anyone else experience this issue?
This just started this week (only 1300 miles on car), when I put the sunroof in vent mode it won't close nor will it allow the entire sunroof to open. Everytime I push the sunroof button to close it the sunroof just cycles through and returns to the vent position. The first time this happened I was able to get the sunroof to close, but it took about 15 minutes of monkeying with it before it closed. Now today I can't get it to close at all.

I guess I'll have to take it in to the dealer......

Rsvl05TL, probably best to let the dealer take a look at it. BTW, did you get your car repaired after that fender bender?

I guess you'll need to visit the dealer... meanwhile, try closing it with the key. If that works, at least you can get it closed when/if it rains. Hope it's a quick fix at the dealer.

Yes, did get the repairs done and it looks great, thanks for asking......still have the slight color mismatch between bumper and body (plastic vs. sheetmetal) that is known to exist with the WDP. I can see it, bit my wife and others think I'm nuts when I point it out to them.

Didn't think of using the "double-clutch key in the lock" to shut the sunroof....glad you mentioned it. I'll try that and then take it in for the fix.

I've had this happen to me. It took me a while to figure out what was going on.

All the windows have pinch sensors on them to stop and reverse the windows from closing if resistance is sensed. The one on the sunroof is really sensitive.

I've noticed it happens more in hot weather, probably because the parts expand some in the heat and tighten up the fits.

While it has been stubborn to close, I haven't ever had it just die like yours.
