Suggestions/HELP

So i own a Acura TL 2004 automatic and am new to all this mod stuff. i got my car about two months ago maybe a little more and have made basically no changes but have a little money to make a change. Iv put on my Tein S-Tech spring and this is what it looks like

I may go to the shop and paint the rims a grey metallic that looks good on my car, Can you guys give some suggestions of if this is the right move and if not what would be the better decision? thank you guys.

It's your car, do whatever you want with it. Not everyone will have the same taste as you. Some will like it, some will dislike it. Overall you own the vehicle, you choose what you want done to it. That's just what I think.

Check out the photo section. You can get ideas there. It's pretty much up to you. You will want to go Coils though, I'm sure of it.

The A-Spec lip kit changes the whole look of the car. Contact member "AckTL05" for a great deal.

Keep the wheels silver. You need to have some contrast for everything to flow together well

Yeah man if you want to upgrade the looks, the next step should be the a-spec kit (my opinion). Nice ride man, congrats!

I'd do TL-S tail-lights and rear sidemarkers, the A-spec kit (get the TL-S one if you plan on doing a quad exhaust later on! I'd also recommend some wheels (once time for tires come around) and overall maintenance.

Look at the front control arm bushings and make sure they aren't cracked, same with the motor mounts. Also if it's an auto transmission, change the fluid religiously every 15-30K miles!

Do you want performance or looks? If performance, I'd invest in the J-pipe after getting the maintenance done

You're in high school? I say you save up your money for college. But that's just me.. The car is a great car, if you're already on a budget, I wouldn't go modding already and save up for when shit hits the fan with maintenance or the infamous transmission on the older TL's.

But its your car, your money, so you can do what you want with it

true my tl only has 70000 miles tho and runs like new, u think problems come at any mileage rather than for high mileaed cars?

The kit doesn't make your car any lower. Maybe the front lip goes 1\4" lower, but that's about it. The kit is pricey, but really, it's the sexiest mod you can do.

For cheap thrills, I agree, the roof spoiler is a good addition.

I personally feel that oem rims should never be powder coated. It just screams "well I couldn't afford aftermarket rims so I just painted the only set I had". Plus, as soon as you do that, the value of those wheels goes down by 50%. Not worth it.

Just an overall bad transmission design for the 04-06. some go out faster than others, some don't go out at all.

Don't listen to me, I'm being a party pooper with all this responsibility bullshit. I don't think you came on to this forum for that, Do what makes you happy

Smart man! That'll be a good, clean look for your car. As far as side markers are concerned, you can pick up the smoked ones from the TL-S. As for headlights, there are a few vendors on here that can help you out- I believe JnC is one, and Ack is another... Search for headlight mod threads and you'll see who these guys are soon enough.
