Do it!
although, you would lose retail value, if you were ever to sell it.

Why not sell the CBP and buy a WDP instead? Net/net, it will likely be cheaper to go this route.

It is possible depending on the amount of money you want to spend. If you want to do it properly it's going to cost a bit! A big tell tale are the door jambs. Most places will only paint the exterior of the car and not the door jambs. Another 100% area is the engine bay. 95% of people doing a full color change don't opt to have the motor and other components removed to get the full color change.

IMO it'd be easier to switch into a WDP TL-S and cheaper rather than repainting.

this is the best option by far. A good paint job will be in the range of $5,000 - $7,000 dollars and on top of that your car will go down in value for not being the original color

that's just for the body and door jambs. if you want the engine bay to match add at least another 1000 - 1500 dollars and expect to not have your car for at least a week possibly two depending on the shop.

i think im juss gonna have to wait for a WDP TL-S to pop up on carmax.

As mentioned yes ofcourse you can have a car repainted to any color you want. The problem with this is to do a complete color change correctly its going to cost a LOT of money. Imagine all those compartments, crevices, door jams, under the hood etc etc that will need to be done. Its a very involved process if its done correctly and even then chances are there will somehow be evidence of the cars previous color. The other downside is that you are going to severly kill the cars value. I would be willing to bet you will instantly put your cars value along side that of a similar TL with a salvaged title. If I were looking for a car and came across one that had been repainted I would instantly move on. Wouldnt even consider buying it.
Your best bet would be to sell your current car and get the color you want. It would be MUCH easier.

WDP is nice. There are too many though. Stick to CBP. It's a special color . Whenever I see a CBP TL-S on the road, I can't help but feel intimidated. It looks so badass
