Stumped Rear backseat removal ggggrrrr

Grrrrr Im stumped... Im attempting to install my new factory subwoofer but Im at a standstill. I removed the rear back seat bottom which was the easy part I unbolted the 2 bolts that were holding the back bottom half and the 2 bolts that are holding the seat back... Now this is where I became stumped I understand there are 2 clips holding the seatback in place but for the life of me I can not see these when I lift the bottom half straight toward the ceiling... Does it matter that Im laying on my back while I lift the seat back to the ceiling? Am I not lifting it high enough? When I do lift it its not going to the ceiling simply because it feels like theres alot of tension and I dont wanna break anything.
Where are these 2 clips? I searched and I referred to one thread in particular on the forum but I dont see the clips in which he points out in his thread.
Standstills suck only thing worse is moving like syrup! Advice needed fellas.

clips? do you mean bolts? after removing the bottom part, there are 3 bolts to take off at the bottom, remove the headrests, remove the bolts hidden behind on each side, move the seatbelts away, lift then pull the back seat.

the 2 bolts holding the seat backs behind the headrests. lift the headrests up and stick an extension with 10mm socket in the little gap.

when you remove the headrests theres a slit in the leather if you're looking straight at the seat..stick a ratchet with and extension and a 10mm on it. and youll feel the bolt; just loosen and pull the seat up. did this on my coilover install sunday.

^ Yup. It's a pain but once you get those bolts under the headrest you're good to go. If you're putting in another factory sub...why not deaden the rear deck while your at it.

It's a bitch removing the rear seat if you don't loosen those hidden bolts behind the headrest. When I installed my coilovers, I search for a DIY on acurazine. Everyone said there were three bolts but no one specified where they were located. So I figured it should be a no brainer. 45 minutes into it I decided to google it and finally someone from another website had detailed pictures of the process. Now the frame behind my seat where the bolt goes are all bent up LoL bit you can't tell with the seat on.

Let me know if you can't find it. I'll take pictures or make a video because I see members posting all the time about this.
