Arrow Strobe Lights

Is anyone here a volunteer firefighter? Even if not, has anyone tried installing Hide-A-Way strobe lights in your 2004 TL?

Thanks in advance for responses.

you can probably install it in the front grill behind the acura sign. it will block some of the passage way for air to cool the radiator. but i don't think enough to make the car overheat.

I'm looking to drop strobes in the four ways. A construction road boss around here had them on his TL and it looked incredible.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the purpose of the strobe light? Would you drive with it on?

It basically replaces the hazard lights. Highly visible and it just looks especially cool.

it doesnt look cool although I understand thats a subjective term. it does make your car look cheap when you use them and you will annoy people thats for sure. probably draw attention from law enforcement too. thats not a plus.

Its illegal to have strobes if used to impersinate a police officer. You can use it as a alarm or hazards...

I wasn’t implying driving around with the things flashing was cool. Used as a hazard feature they work great. I worked a numbers of years with a local PD and I understand the need for high visibility during unusual conditions. Look cheap? Not if used correctly.

They're used by emergency service volunteers instead of getting that ugly dash-top strobe or roof-top old-school rotator.

The purpose of these lights are to act as emergency warning for volunteer firefighters and EMT's, in New York State we are allowed to display blue lights and some of us insert strobe lights in the front/rear lights. If you have the proper licensing, it is legal. It is not for show purpose or to make the car look extra ricey, no one wants that!

Well Bro Let me Know I had a set of four ways in my old maxima, They are the best out there made by WHalen same stuff in undercover cop cars and ambulances. How ever mine are white, They look like lightning going off"Like a powerfull club strobe. I have four bulbs and the power kit they flash in 4 different patterns, Single alternating Blink, Double alternating Blink,Tripple alternating Blink and both strobes going off at the same time. They are unreal, To install you drill a hole in your headlight casing about the size of a nickel, when there not on you dont even know there there. Again I have 4 bulbs and the power kit can handle 6, I had them in the front and the rears People loved them and they turned tons of heads, Cops were not to fond of them I got a few alternating head light tickets, THey did not even know what law I broke so thats the ticke I usually got. Make an offer if you want them they cost 600.00 new, Keep in mind installing them is not easy, You need a top of the line stero guy to run all the wires.

The lights do not cost $600... I have my own company which sells only emergency warning products and we sell the setup you are talking about for $210.00 and we also do the installations for them. Our used stuff only runs around $90 for the power supply and $20 for the bulbs.

Try some LED low-profile lighting:http://www.galls.com/category2.html?...atalog&cat=564

or http://www.galls.com/style.html?styl...eneral_catalog

The second is for a halogen model so it does not require a power supply like the strobes..
