Most avatar's come from somewhere. Go to any other board and I am sure you will see the same avatar used by at least 30 other people.
I do agree he should ask for permission first assuming he knows that it was created by you in the first place. Copyright it and you can profit from others steeling your designs.

It's just an avatar and unless you have a copyright on it there isn't much you can do but ask politely for him to remove it. If he doesn't want to he is not obligated to do so. So then you will end up like the above picture.
Being 41 years young you should know when you post something on the internet you have now opened up the right for others to copy and use your work/pictures throughout the intArweb. Copyrights can be a beautiful thing and make you richAr.
Oh and the SRT4 is fastAr!

Never in my wildest dream would I think that a butt shot of a silver TL can cause such controversy. Believe it or not, I actually got that AV from another forum, but it figures that the creator of a TL AV would be in here. I apologize for taking your AV A-TLvic882, but I think you probably should have PM’ed me first before going through all the trouble of posting pics and step by step instructions on how you actually made the AV.
As per your request, A-TLvic882, I have changed my av. For any one else in this forum, I would feel honored if you think so highly of my picture that you’re compelled to use my new av as your own, I don’t mind sharing at all, heck, I’d even email you a high res picture of it if you want. It is a picture of Nokia 6230, one of the most feature packed phone out at the moment.

Just FYI, when I took some classes on internet related copyright & patent... Anything that you create is copyrighted, whether it is images or text... Even if the picture does not have the copyright mark, it is copyrighted. If you want to pay for the copyright submission fee, it will basically just register it... But bottom story A-TLvic882, your avatar is copyrighted by default...

Well if your going to agree to that then just let me ask where you got the picture before you changed it?
Cuz the picture you grabbed, unless you took it with your own camera of a car is copyrighted, and you didn't have any right to copy it and used it to even modify it. If you wanna get technical.
C'mon guys like it matters. Pictures get copied, photoshoped, and posted all the time... No one cares.
I'd like to see a mod lock this thread. PLEASE!!
