Steering wheel controls warm to the touch

Anyone notice the controls on the steering wheel are often warm? Is this cause they are always illuminated or something?

It's actually the thumb-warmer feature that very few people know about. Acura needs to add this to the brochure.

If you want HOT!! :diablotin Check out the door of the mirror in the driver's sun viser after the viser has been in the up position. This thing will almost burn you.

Do you mean when the visor is upright against the roof headliner? If so, is it possible the light is not going out? Or did I misunderstand your statement?

Yes, when the visor is against the headliner. I had the same thought but no the light is going out. Is very strange though.

It should not be hot. I thought about this when I went downtown today, and checked mine. The only reason it might get hot is that there is a short in a wire, just enough to build up some resistance but not enough to blow the fuse.

I would get this checked out or keep a fire extinguisher handy.
