Unhappy Steering Racking INTERNAL leak reported by Dealer

My dealer on a regular oil change and 52 point inspection said I have "an internal power steering rack leak". I have no symptoms I can find or google that shows I have any issues with steering. The fluid is normal level and has never been topped off at 100,919 miles now. No signs of trouble. So I bought I bottle of Honda PSF just in case. They wanted me to leave the car there saying I would burn up the pump, but I've driven 200 miles and no fluid level changes.

Does anyone have any information on what an "internal power steering rack leak is? A TSB would be great Honda or Acura.

Hmm...I don't know about this, but I have noticed a whine coming from my power steering pump when I'm turning the wheel after I've just started the car. I think the cold might be playing havok with it too.

Sounds fishy to me. If someone says I have a leak... then, in my mind the car should be losing something (in your case PS fluid). If you have a good indy shop that you trust, maybe you can have them take a look-see. I think they were trying to put some fear in you and then the shakedown had you taken the bait.
