I just bought a AM 2006 TL w/nav after years of following threads on this great forum. I learned a lot from these threads and gotta say I owe you guys a lot. Thanks Much.
I just want to know if anybody here had any issue with the state tax and county tax applied to the final price of the car after the trade-in value was subtracted. The guy from finance gave me these papers to sign and I must have overlooked the numbers a day after I got the car. I have the State tax form which has the computation of the final price of the car after trade-in multiplied by the state tax (.0675) in my case. But when I looked at the yellow paper where all the numbers are (car price,trade-in,documentation fee,etc..) it did not tie with the number in the State tax form. It was higher by $220. I called the finance manager at Acura and he told me the $220 difference is the county tax. I asked him if he could give me a copy of the county tax payment and he told me that he cant since the computer wont allow him to do that. He told me that on next year's tax season, I can put in there the amount that is reflected on the yellow paper.Do you guys know if he pulled a fast one on me?
