The State of Our Third Gen/TL Union

Paint the grill, put flames on the sides, soup it up to 300hp with your favorite brand of 100 octane gas, install 21" wheels with those chrome rims that still turn when you're stopped, paint the calipers, lower the car 1" with racing springs so we can take turns at 110, modify the NAV to play movies and videos so we can watch the TL commercials and Motorweek review while we drive, hold Verizon hostage until we can Bluetooth our way down the road, start a riot at Acura corporate headquarters for new tires, blow up the next dealer that screws a forum member, show those G35 owners who's boss by running them off the road, wait for the 500hp '05 so you can go from NY to CA in under 2 hours, etc. etc.
:smackhead Geeez....

While we're at it, let's all hang dingle balls across the inside where the headliner meets the windshield like the '64 Chevy in Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke. If we're lucky, we might even be able to get the balls matched to your interior color with the Acura emblem on them!!

I had the dingle balls installed at the dealer but I took them off because they vibrate at 50 miles an hour. So does my pen for that matter...

.

i got mine installed at the dealer too...what a nightmare. when i dropped off my baby they said it would only take a few hours and said $200. i called back 3 hours later and they had to take out the engine because it was causing problems with access. 3 days and $4k later...i finally got my car back, only the dingle balls wouldnt light up so im going back tomorrow. oh yea and i also noticed this weird rattling sound whenever i go over 30mph...dam acura dealers.

Dingle balls listed on the sticker but not present in the car I drove. What gives? Service manager said that Acura just didn't have time to reprint the sticker and they are providing everyone that complains with free bobble-head.

Good one DMZ

I was disappointed with no factory fuzzy dice for my TL, but I can always buy them aftermarket.

Does anyone know how to make my new TL's front end jump up and down?

Ok you win that was the best....ROFLMAO!!!

Yes the best most efficient way is to pay someone to ride along with you to randomly deflate and inflate your tires when you demand it. Now...heres the tricky part...you only deflate/inflate the "FRONT" tires. If you need more help on this I have a diagram aroud here somewhere.

That's too easy. Park it overnight and make sure you've got Bridgestone EL42 tires.

What about the underbody neon kit? You can't put a scoop on the front without that.

Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke is on HBO-Comedy right now! Those dingle balls are all lined all the way around the top edge of the interior, front, sides, back, and around the edges if the the sun visors too!!!

What if I jacked the rear end up and put on some 50s? Or, better yet, how about some chrome side pipes? And, of course, I always did have fondness for those limo antenna that look like boomarang. Hey, what's this aboud dingle balls?! My sales dude didn't say anything about the dingle balls. I am bummed.

I guess I had more time tonight than usual.
