Was wondering if anyone has purchased a 3g spoiler from ebay. Bought my AEM CAI from from ebay with no problems. Just got installed today and it sounds great . here the link for the spoiler link

 

a decklid, or actual spoiler? People have, forgot who, do a search and i'm sure youll get some results

 

Members have purchased both... The decklid some have complained about the paint match

The roof spoiler... I think couple memebers have said it doesn't reach fully to the other side (but it's fine because it is a bmw spoiler copy and the bmw one doesn't reach all the way it just sits on the glass)

 

some colors are really hard to match. even Acura can't match. that's what most members have complained about.

 

How come none of the other responders above ^^^ have noticed that the one in the fleabay auction was NOT painted already? It LCEARLY states "PRIMED FACTORY STYLE SPOILER" in HUGE red type at the top of the ad. So, obvously matching the color to the paint isn't an issue with that particular auction, right? It looks like it was $49 plus $35 shipping so for $85 it may be a pretty good deal. One thing that is misleading though it the "our spoilers include a DOT LED light" yet I don't see one in that picture. Hmm

 

even with custom paint job, the match is not going to be 100%. probably 80-90% depending on color.

 

i just received my decklid spoiler i ordered from ebay, and i must say that the color match is absolutely 100% accurate, at least it looks that way to me. I have an Abyss Blue Pearl and the color of the spoiler looks spot on to the color of my car...i am really happy about the quality of the paint and the look of it. i am going to mount it when it gets a bit warmer out (i am in chicago and don't want to mount it in cold weather for fear of the double-sided tape not adhering properly in cold weather).

although i probably agree that not all colors will match 100%. i have seen several silver decklid spoilers that look a bit off from the color of the cars...silver is probably one of the hardest colors to have a very close match to. abyss blue pearl is probably not as hard to match as the silver, since the silver is really easy to spot a difference in shade

 

i bought this one from ebay, probably wont ever install it, but i'm trying to sell it.
