I am in the middle of a project and am wondering if anyone has seen behind the speedo cluster. Is there enough room for a gauges?? Roughly 3".. Any first hand info would be greatly appreciated..

I am in the middle of a project with help from another member and am wondering if anyone has seen behind the speedo cluster. It seems "hollow" in-between the oem gauges. Does it goback far enough to make room for a gauges?? Roughly 3".. Any first hand info would be greatly appreciated..
