A speck body kit

I just put on my A spec body kit over the last couple of day. The rear didn't go on nearly as easy as the rest of the car. Is there a chance that the dealership could take it from here and fix any fitting issues? Would this void my warranty by putting it on? I only had to drill 4 holes to attach the rear bumper and two for the front. The rear bumper didn't adhere with the tape very well and I wonder if anyone else had that issue.

common issue, people replace the tape w/ 3m double sided tape

depends on the dealership, most will charge you labor to fix it, but you could diy. there's a thread somewhere here on AZ

I recently put mine on. For some reason, that 3M double-sided tape was not sticking at all for me. I had some good sized gaps on the sides. Instead, I had to use JB weld to keep it down. The gaps are gone and it's definitely not going anywhere now.

I believe the OE tape is 3M. But 3M makes a better "heavy duty" foam type, double sided tape.

Some have removed the OE stuff and used the wider 3M foamy tape, and also used more of it too.

Make sure all surfaces are prepped with a solvent, like wax/grease remover. I use that "ALL PREP" stuff at Walmart/Auto Stores, it's about 6-7 bucks.

^ What he said Joe. I wiped all surfaces with alcohol before I put mine on. I also ripped all the OE tape off and used the heavy duty 3m stuff.

Post some pics!
