A-Spec steering wheel

What's so special about the steering wheel that comes with the A-Spec package? Is it just the stitching? Is it easy to swap out?

It is shaped a bit differently but the blue stitching does look spiffy.

The Real Truth

It's the one piece of the A-Spec package that you continuously both see and feel while driving the car - a constant reminder of how you threw common sense and logic to the wind and said "F' it, I'm treating myself because life is short, I've worked hard, and I deserve it."

I keep hearing about a different Canadian wheel, but I've never seen anyone post who actually has one. I think it's a myth. I've seen some pics, but they looked like marketing images - perhaps from a prototype or concept.

The wheel rim is thicker. The hand grips are dyed a different color and the leather in that section is perforated. Also, it has blue-stitching around the rim.

I do agree with you, I like the 3 spoke look better.

I remember that pic, but I think it is something from a prototype or concept. No one seems to have one on their car. A couple months ago someone in Canada tried to order it and got one like mine.

Hmmm... I might spring for it if it feels good in the hand. But only if I'm able to change it out myself. Anyone know if this is possible w/o any special tools?

Nothing special beyond standard hand tools - torx bit, torque wrench, puller, etc. Once the airbag is removed it's just like any other steering wheel.
