when you go aspec you should get back your olld stuff you just bought for 5000. right...?

Maybe I got ripped, but before I got ordered A-SPEC I discussed this issue with two dealers and both said that they keep the old parts and that's part of the deal. If I paid MSRP I probably would have put up more of a fight but since I got $2000 off including the A-SPEC I let it go. I haven't asked ACURA about it...maybe I'll give them a call.

 

I don't think you got ripped. The dealer keeping the parts was part of the deal that netted $2K off. Plan B is to buy and install the kit post-purchase, which makes it easier to keep the parts.

 

I put in a call to ACURA customer service. They took the information and said they would get back to me in 2-3 days. I'll let you know.
