I found a guy on Craigslist that was selling a brand new Rear A-Spec lip. He wants $100 for it and when i asked if it had all the hardware, all he said was that he just has whatever came with it whenever he ordered it. So my question is what do I need to look for as far as hardware goes, bolts, brackets, etc.

 

I'd check if it is OEM as well. $100 is cheap for an A-Spec lip.

You can find the parts by searching for the part online from sellers. A new rear lip is $260 I think. Why isn't he selling the resT?

 

^ this or go to the dealer and request for how to install rear a-spec. it will tell you what you need and what is included.

If he ordered it new it should come with everything needed for install.

I picked up the lip saturday and yea as predicted it didnt have any hardware so i ordered that $20 hardware kit from acura. I hope i ordered the right kit but the story on the lip was that he worked at a body shop and they ordered a base lip for a type s so its been sitting at the shop for over a year and his boss gave him the heads up to take it home because it was about to go to the dump.

 

I mocked up the lip to my bumper is there any way to get rid of the gap between the lip and the bumper at the top corners i just pulled the tape off and added some more to see if there was going to be any gaps. I didnt care about the factory double sided tape because it got some dust on the sticky part so im just going to replace it with new tape.

I have gaps and couldn't care less. They aren't noticeable unless you're right on top of them.
