I cleaned out the car today and really wanted to hook it to the highlander and take it back home to repair myself.

This forum was a great help to me while I owned the TL in learning how to fix things that needed it, what to look for and what upgrades are possible. I hope to get another Acura as a project car in a couple of years.

If anyone is interested in buying the car for repair or getting some of the great parts off of it, it will be taken to a salvage yard in Madison, IL (east St. Louis) tomorrow. http://www.speedway.ws/

New in the past four months:
Ceramic brakes
Conti DWS Extreme Contact Tires
Timing belt
Serpentine belt and tensioner
All fluids changed
Valves adjusted

New since August 14 (with only 40 miles on them)
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
Progress Adjustable rear sway bar
Moog rear sway bar endlinks
Acura A-Spec suspension for 6MT
Spark plugs
Cabin air filter

I left my phone number in the car hoping someone does bring it back to life.

I hate that part too. For anyone considering it, the A-Spec suspension and Progress RSB are way more than worth the cost and time. The RSB is really simple to install (1 hour) and the suspension would take 4 hours with no issues.

I did have to cut off the old sway bar end links with an angle grinder as many have mentioned.

I can't stomach the thought of even thinking of how to replace it right now.

I had the wheel turned to the left here.

It doesn't look totaled to me...fix that beech.

I would have taken some of the parts back off before it went to the body shop for a quote, but I had my hands full that weekend. At the accident, I lost my license so I couldn't get a rental car and since my wife was in Florida, (her car at the airport) I had no spare car. I was also in charge of 4 kids that weekend, one being my son that has autism. I really regret not getting the suspension, intake and sway bar back off now that it is going to salvage.
