A-Spec pics / info? anyone??

Does anyone have A-spec pics with the badging etc...

I would really be interested in seeing some.

I plan on getting the A-Spec, Auto, NAV.

I "HOPE" that the auto A-spec will have the brembos! I've read it both ways so far.

As far as i know.....A-spec is Brembos, springs, 18's, steering wheel, aero kit, and badging. Is that about right?

Thanks gang!

From what I've heard the A-SPec will only get the upgraded brake pads, not the calipers.

That would SUCK!

See........this is what I'm talking about.
Anyone confirm that? I would hope that Acura would give the A-spec the full treatment for the price we are paying for it!

TL Auto WILL NOT have Brembo on, it'll only have the upgraded brake pads.
I've seen Auto with Brembo, but it's only a Demo and will not make it to production.
A-SPEC does not include Brembo, because it's standard on the manual tranny.
Hate to disappoint you man, but I guess that you'll getting the upgraded brake pads (whatever that means).

upgraded pads as in the ones they replace the '03's with after the rotors warp like 100 times??? I know that acura has been replacing the pads with better more resistant pads...but don't tell me the '04's will use the same pads???

someone has to seriously beat the skulls of the designers for this new '04 TL. With all the brake issues, you'd think they would fix the damn problem...

morons!!!

The rotors were the problem, not the pads.

I just pulled this from Edmunds. Not that it is 100%, but it DOES say the the auto A-spec gets the Brembo treatment. What article did you find that said only the pads were upgraded?

If you like what you hear so far but feel you're going to need more in the way of performance, you should know that Acura will offer an "A-SPEC" kit shortly after the TL goes on sale in October 2003. Cars that get the A-SPEC treatment will be fitted with high-performance springs and shocks that lower the car about an inch, 18-inch wheels with 235/40ZR18 Yokohama tires, an aero body kit, a rear spoiler, a sport steering wheel and special exterior badging. Automatic-equipped TLs also pick up the front Brembo brakes.
I am hoping this is RIGHT!!!

Well Edmunds has already been wrong for the DVD Playing while in park, so I dont know how much credit to give to them..

AND FROM HONDANEWS.COM (OFFICIALLY FROM HONDA) IT SAYS:

The A-SPEC kit includes:

Pre-assembled performance springs and shocks that lower the vehicle approximately 1.2 in. (30 mm)
18-inch wheels with 235/40ZR18 Yokohama AVS ES100 tires
Aero kit
Rear spoiler
Special steering wheel with distinctive shape and stitching
Performance brake pads (for automatic transmission vehicles only)
A-SPEC badging

The A-Spec package could give Brembo "pads" and keep the ACura/Honda calipers.

A-SPEC does not give Brembo, the only way you get Brembo is if you have the 6 speed manual
