A-spec Kit question.

How much lower the A-spec kit will be compare to the regular base bumpers? Where I live snow can be up to 2-3 feet or more and I don't want to use it as a plower. thanks!!

lip is an add on to the bumper you already have so no bumpers are needed. And I live in Canada where it snows A LOT and I am 2" lowered and I have no problems getting around.

In 2-3' of snow, this kit is not going to make a difference.

I've been through a few snow storms, and I'm about an inch and a half lower and I've had no problems.

It lowers it about a half inch give or take and also makes the car more aero dynamic and its proven to run 1/10 second faster with the kit because of its aerodynamics.

I can get the kit for you if you are interested.
Whole kit or just the front, side or rear individually.

The lip isnt what you should be worrying about, its the airdam that flows air into the lower radiator area that is the issue.

If your worried about driving in 2-3 feet of snow, I wouldn't drive a FWD car.

I'm interested in this. Was there a thread about it on here? Not trying to be an arse, I'm genuinely curious as I've never heard that before. Interesting.

type-s aspec front lip is different than base, yes.

it will lower it maybe an inch, if that. nothing dramatic at all.

it will look odd if you only have the front lip, get the whole kit at the same time.

front lip is around $265 shipped i think.

That's the Type-S Aspec? Looks nice. I found this picture online of an NBP TL with Aspec but I'm guessing this is Base w/ Aspec?

Just FYI, since it hasn't been brought up in this thread yet(I think). The 04-06 A-spec kit is slightly different than the 07-08. This is regarding base 3G TL's

Base 04-06 A-spec Kit

Base 07-08 A-spec Kit

Base 07-08 Front lip. I believe this is on a type-s, but still a base 07-08 lip.

^bad timing...just missed a group buy on them for $715 shipped.

BUT you can still get it for $750-$765 through our vendors here.

AckTL05 can hook you up.

I really like the Type-S Aspec front... Anyone got pics of the rear Base and Type-S? Specifically NBP 2007?

side marker, tails, and exhaust tip gives it away as a base.
