I have an 07 CGP base. Id like to get an A-spec body kit for it, but my color has been discontinued. Has anyone bought one that's a different color and repainted it to match there color? I'm not sure if this would be worth the hassle.

Yes many members (including myself) have to go this route when their color is no longer avaliable. It doesnt matter what color one gets, but how well the painter can match it i.e. correct color, the prep, etc.


I had one of my friends who has a CBP and all he needed was the side under spoiler which he got from a member and it was RRP. He had it painted to match and it came out great.


Is it worth the hassle? That is totally up to the individual. If the color is discontunied, and I really want the aspec then yes. If I dont really want it; then no.

 

Go for it. Usually, if you chose a good bodyshop they could match it almost identical - Your Acura dealer could be an option if you got the $$
