A-spec front on new paint?

After much arguing with Acura, they repainted my front bumper under warranty due to some sort of shipping damage.

I'm picking it up tomorrow. Is it OK to go ahead and install my A-spec front or should I wait for the paint to completely cure?

It takes some time (about a month) for the paint to cure, thats why new painted cars arent waxed for some time.

Technicaly the a spec pieces will cover up some parts of the bumpers, so it wouldnt affect the rest of the bumper, and you wounldnt be worried about how the paint is under the a spec pieces.....so you can install it.

I would wait a extra week if possible.

Pretty much what Deadlock said.....it takes a while for the paint from a paint shop to cure totally....but given you are just installing over the top of...I figured a few weeks would do?

I was only worried about the areas that will be covered by the 2-sided tape...I'd hate to rip off the new paint with it.

With the baking process in painting, you should have no problem withe installing the A-Spec front now.
