IMO, if you don't have the whole package, you shouldn't do the badge. I have the suspension, which came with the badge. I've got it sitting around somewhere. I disliked the body kit and steering wheel enough that I didn't purchase them.

haha, that is similar to what my buddy did to his Cobra. He has a 2004 Mustang Cobra (stock supercharged 390hp engine), What he did to his car was simply debadged all the snake emblems on each side, took off the "SVT" emblem and removed the rear bumper where it said "Cobra" and puts in "Mustang". The car is simply stock with absolutely no mods in it and whenever someone challenges him, he would smoke them left and right. I remember this one time when I rode with him, he picked out a nice 350Z and revved his engine, the driver probably thought it's a mustang GT and got smoked left and right. I asked him once why he did that, is it simply for joy?
His reply was "nah, 1) this prevents jealous people from keying my car, 2) don't get ricey boys to race me when I feel like chilling and 3) representing mustang v6!

No way!!!!

You got to purchase the actual Type-R "cammode"..... You know - max flow plumbing, high tension flusher and custom white porcelain with floor molding......

You can't just "badge" a standard toilet!! What the hell were you thinking.....

What?

The gearshift is on the wrong side of the toilet, because real Type Rs are all right-hand-drive.

Technically, the suspension & the steering wheel are the only two unique aspects of the A-Spec package. That's just my opinion.

It's your car, you can do as you please...
and the A-Spec wheels...those are the biggies for the A-Spec...they are unique to the car and make it look extremely different....then again...there really isn't much for the a-spec package....u get

- Wheels
- Suspension
- New Steering Wheel
- Badging
- Body Kit

^ Actually you can buy the wheels separately from any dealer. The suspension and the steering wheel are not offered by most dealers separately. Most of us got them from Falconi, or Acura of Escondido, etc. etc. Most dealers will sell the bodykit & the wheels separately. Not so with the suspenion or steering wheel.

i know...i was responding to what u said before. i think of all of the A-Spec features, the Body kit and the wheels make the most of a visual difference. i personally don't have the A-Spec suspension but ive heard nothing but good things about it, i don't think there is one unhappy person on this forum that has A-Spec suspension.

This has definitely been one of the more entertaining threads I've seen here.
Thanks for the comedy guys and especially Main Event... for the PIC.
I am having my new type R toilet installed this week
and I don't care what anyone says I am putting the A-spec badge on it.

That's no ordinary toilet, so you can't have an ordinary plunger!

I wonder what kind of displacement that thing has...3 gallons? It certainly can't be modern water-saving model...

Just my opinion.
So would this be okay?

Since I can't afford the Vette right now? Can I just put the Vette emblem on my TL?

Sure,
But an accompanying Z06 emblem might be pushing it...

(I'd like one in my garage too - just not practical right now...)

Cheers
