A-Spec body kit without the front lip?
I was possibly considering installing a kit w/o the front lip but haven't been able to find anyone who has that setup. I like the smooth lines of the stock front bumper but the aspec does have its appeal. My only concern is if the front will look out of place and not line up with the other two parts installed. What do you guys think of this setup? Does anyone have pics of it or maybe a pic of when you were installing the full kit but haven't put on the front lip yet?

When I installed my kit, I didnt have enough time on my days off to finish putting on the front lip. So I left it like that for about 2 weeks unitil I was able to get enough time to finish the front. As far as looks are concerned, it didnt really look that bad just having the side skirts and rear on. However, after I installed the front, I couldnt believe why I took so long to do it. You will definitely not want to go back to stock.

I think he meant without the front lip? I havent seen any base tl's with just the sides and rear, but have seen a tl-s with just the rear and sides!

Nice find. It's a perfect reference for my SSM TL. Thanks! It looks pretty good but I'll probably just get the whole kit and see if I want to add it in or not. I just have to get my car tinted and mounted with some Aspec rims.

I agree with you about the way front lip looks. Also if you look from a side the rear and sides skirts will be much lower then the front one. I put just sides and rear, and got aftermarket front lip off of ebay. im in process if putting it on right now so if you want, remind me and i will post a picture of it when i get done.

hey if you get the whole kit and you dont want the front lip. I would be interested in it. I was thinking about putting an aspec lip in the front, and then putting a tl-s rear bumper on. (if that is possible) what do you guys think?

I'd definitely consider a TL-s rear bumper if it was possible. Too bad they don't have SSM anymore either.
Anyone know how much lower the Aspec front lip is than the stock bumper? I'm also concerned about bottoming out with all the crappy driveways and entrances that exist in Seattle.
