A-Spec Body Kit "where to buy" for 2005 TL
I'm becoming a new TL driver.. I've owned all hondas my whole life and decided to step up to the TL. I'm picking up an 05 white diamond pearl 6spd manual with navi tomorrow.. I love the A-spec kit, but i'm having a hard time locating a reputable website that sells them for this year. Any ideas?

Yes, they ship to Canada and yes, most people complete the install themselves while the rest bring the kit to a shop of their choice. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with that price.

From what i hear its not to hard to install, if you want to get it installed professionally its gonna run you about $400 (from what Tim at hondaacuraworld tells me) but 799 is a pretty good price for the skirt but thats if you live in the states. Getting that baby over the border into Canada tho is a different story all kinds of fees.

Bought mine from the following dealership, freight alone was the killer at $150 
. Cost me $1050 shipped for the kit and the deck lid spoiler. Deck lid spoiler alone is $320 or so 
.
Compare that to $1980 which is what I got quoted for the kit and lip installed at sunnyside acura.

I wouldnt get the clear bra, I saw an 00 MB S class the other day parked next my car and it had the clear bra. Bra was poorly aged and you could see it from 30 feet
Not sure what kind of luck TL owners have had with them but I personally wouldnt buy it.

Not sure if 799 is shipped price if it is then you will save a bit since I paid $150 just for freight and seeing that I was going to pay for freight that much I ordered the deck lid spoiler as well. Can someone confirm if 799 is shipped or shipping is extra?

I know 2G members use to have stuff shipped to Buffalo, NY and then come across the border and pick it up, the key is that you have to have an acquaintance in Buffalo where you'd get it shipped.

Looking for new mods
Has anyone here installed the Type-s Rear on a base 07. I know on and 04-06 you pretty much gotta chop the whole lower part ot the bumper..... for the 07, can i just extednt the exhaust outlet? Need advise, about to ordered and want to do it myself, but putting a dremel to you bumper is scary.

Not sure what kind of luck TL owners have had with them but I personally wouldnt buy it.I know clear bras used to have issues with yellowing (especially gross on a white car) but nowadays, that problem is gone.

For Canadian members.. the best bet is to still go to Tim.
It's only $799.99 USD... converted to CAD right now would be $811.59.... not that much of a difference. Then shipping/handling/import... I'm assuming it should be a good $300-$400 charge in total. Add that to the kit-cost and it's still cheaper than ordering it locally at a dealership.
Overall, Tim is probably the only place right now for Canadian members to get it for "cheap[er]". Unless we can somehow get a hook-up from Canadian dealerships on group-buys as well....

hey try Acura of athens (800)546-1076 and when the girl picks up ask for parts, then you should get william or phil and tell them Fareed referred you and ask for whatever accessories your looking for and ask if they can give you there internet pricing. i saved couple hundred ordering my 06 Rl accessories. and i tried posting this on another username and they suspended my account for trying to pass on my savings, so here i am. and also they can combine shipping to save you even more. Is hondaacuraworld legit? i called that contact number on the page and it gave me another number to call, and it was a sex line for only .99c a minute? LOL!! i was going to order the kit but then backed out since there is no way to contact anyone

I got mine from the link I provided in the above post. I was getting the A spec kit, TL-S deck lid spoiler and got these along with the rest of the stuff and saved on shipping. Can someone confirm if the prices through the Hondaworld group buy are shipped prices or without shipping because that would make a huge difference in the bottom line.
