I am looking to install the a-spec body kit on my '05 knight hawk black TL and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to order from where the price is reasonable and the shipping is free. Also if I get the body kit, is it necessary to get the suspension? So far, I am comfortable with ride and just want to enhance the look of the car.

you only pay handling of 3.95, shipping is free as long as your in continental U.S., i believe.

suspension is not necessary, it would just look nicer

 

I am looking for one too. I found Clint from Findlay Acura is pretty resonable. He offered $825 shipped for the full kit. Seems cheaper then anyone else I have seen so far.

 

I just paid $832.95 from tim at hondaacuraworld. I just finished the install...still siting in my garage on my laptop, and I absolutely love it. Couldn't be happier

 

Is that for the full kit and painted?

Look in craigslist in the dallas area for the A-spec kit. I got mine brand new and is selling my car. If you are local or willing to drive to pick up..i can install the kit on your car under 1hr.

 

Is there a good place to go to see pictures of the different kits? Both base a-spec and type-s a-spec. Front, rear, and side for both. I searched around and found LOTS of a-spec installs, but am unsure what's on what.

 

^^^ You can go into the 3G Garage and look for the DIY Install.. There are two links, one is the 04-06 and the other is 07-08, you'll get a good idea between the differences in years. As for the tl-s kit, go to the photo sub forum and just look around at different threads.

 

Look for acuradeals on ebay they have full kits painted and shipped for under 800..

They are Curry Acura, I have purchased from them many times already.. great service..

 

Yo theslup, how hard was it for you to get your grill like that? I really like how you have that done. Also, this is a question with regards to EL Ban's post. I searched Ebay and found Curry Acura. Why is it that the 04-06 A-Spec body kit is more expensive than the 07-08's?
