Thumbs down A-spec body kit

Has anyone noticed that the A-Spec body kit for the 07 TLS does away with the bottom "honeycomb" grill and chrome strip? The kit makes it look just like the regular TL. I'm upset.

Then you will need to wait for the RonJon kit to come out...

Just personal views. I also prefer the old A-Spec to the new one for the TL-S. Not feeling the front at all and RonJon's does look better.

The A-Spec for the base '07 TL looks very similar to the previous years (minus the bigger front grill probably).

I have been shopping for a new TL-S and the dealer said they would install the entire body kit for $800. However after seeing pictures of the TL-S with the kit, I think I like the stock look better.

I dont agree...

Installed price = $800 OR $800 to install the kit?

The install is so simple, if that's install price, forget it.

I don't like it much either... Look how high up it comes on teh front fender. It looks like a big stickon.

$800 was for the kit and install, but after seeing the pictures I'm going to take a pass on the kit.

Interesting

I agree with some of you guys.... The front piece of the kit just does not look right with the huge line across.... making it look like a "big" bolt on piece there... not sublte enough... and not making the car look agressive either. It makes me feel better and saves me some $$ I found the TL looks good without and kit., just itching to do something to the car. The mod bug is biting me.

i think the kit looks much more aggressive...i likes a lot as far as install, it may be simple to you and i, but there are people out there who don't know how to read what pressure they should inflate their tires to...
