A-Spec

Any word on the A-Spec upgrade? From what I know its this package of upgrade to the car that supposedly enhaces the performance and look. Things like spoilers, bigger tires, accessory bling blings, etc. Last I heard they wouldn't be available until Nov 03. Since that has came and gone, has any gotten that upgrade option?

Do a search and you'll find a lot of information on the A-Spec kit here. It's been out for a while and lot's of people in this forum have it installed on their rides already.

I should've specified - I'm not looking for the prices per se. I'm looking for feedback from those who have it installed. Good? Bad? Ugly? Worth the money? pictures to show off?

zippy they put your steering wheel on upside down! Or that the latest trend? Other than that it looks awesome. Still prefer the decklid spoiler though.

LOL...I didnt even notice that his steering wheel was upside down. In the sideshot of his TL, it doesn't look like the wheel is cut enough to the right for the steering wheel to be all the way turned upside down, but I guess it is.

Zippys2k can you comment on the handling changes with the A-Spec kit? I am considering the A-Spec kit, but the dealer does not have one to allow me to test drive. Before I spend that kind of money I want to be sure that there is a marked improvement in the handling.

1. Does the nose dive as much on hard braking?

2. Is the torque steer improved?

Anything you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply. We picked up the car with the kit installed, so the only real driving done without the kit was the test drive.
That being said, I will compare it to my 03 CL 6 sp.

To both of your questions the answer is that the A-spec car is a vast improvement over the CL. That being said I have not been able to really run it, since I am still in break-in, but I have noticed no torque steer and very little nose-dive in hard braking.

Hope that helps.

Unfortunately I have never driven a CL so I cannot use this as a basis for comparison.

What about compared to the stock TL?
