South Florida Prices?
Hey all, first time poster... I'm in the market for a 5AT w/ Navi. I haven't decided on the color (either black or anthracite). I'm planning on buying memorial day weekend.
I've gone to a couple of dealers so far, I got an offer of $32,875 at the first, used that as leverage and got the second dealer to offer $32,375. Both prices inclusive of dest, but not "dealer fees". Almost sounds too good to be true. Has anyone done better?

When are you looking to buy? My g/f was in the market for a Nissan Murano, so was a collegue of mine... I negotiated my best deal with the dealer for my g/f then told him that I've got a friend in the market for the same and ready to buy that day (last day of the month). We both got a better price than I had originally negotiated. I'm not sure if that'll work again, but offering a dealer 2 sales at the end of the month is pretty powerful leverage.

In my opinion, your best deal will be Rick Case Acura in Broward county. I shopped 4 different dealerships including South Florida Acura, Miami & Esserman Acura(owned by the same person) and Rick Case. They had not only the best price, but had many extras thrown in like a free T-616 that works great with the car. I think they currently have a $1000.00 certificate to City Furniture if you buy from them, but check and see. I suggest you call Dave Kalish as he was the one who helped me, and he is a straight shooter. You can reach him at 1 800 881-1118 then press to Acura, then Sales before asking for him. If he gives you a price, you can count on his word to deliver(he is the internet sales manager).
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Z,
Thanks! Do you mind if I ask you what exactly you bought and what price you got on it? I was wondering how it compared to the prices in my original post.
Both dealers I talked to are offering free tires for life if you take your car there for all scheduled service. I don't think that's such a good deal given what they charge for service.

As to the tires, I agree. Go to Rick Case and ask for one of their little booklets that have all sorts of incentives and free giveaways just for taking a test drive. This is my first time dealing with them, and I'm sold on them now.

Agent, what dealer? Did you have a trade? I'm looking at very similar deals, however with my trade, I figure I'll pay about 800 less in sales tax. I shooting for $34,000 OTD.

No trade
I don't have a trade, I am replacing my 2000 Toyota Celica GTS after the front end was destroyed in a hit and run accident on April 9th.
A 95 GMC Jimmy (witnesses followed the vehicle and cops saw it parked, but owner claims it was "stolen"... though the cops and her insurance are still investigating) L'd me (versus T-boned)... hit me about 1-2 inches on the far side of the firewall... damn near ripped the front of my car off.

When I bought on 3/19. I talked with Delray Acura, Rick Case, Esserman, and Miami Acura. The best deal I could get for a 5AT/Navi was 1250.00 off sticker at Rick Case. The best Delray would do was $800.00 off sticker. Esserman & Miami Acura were a waste of time. Hope the info helps!

Got my Anthracite/Quartz/5AT/Navi at Rick Case. Can't give you the price because there was a trade involved. What I can tell you is that they have the largest selection in So. Florida and that the buying experience is great (at least mine was). I called them at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon to accept the deal, gave them a credit card over the phone to hold the car and picked it up on Sunday at noon. It was completely prepped and the paperwork had already been done as promised.

Here's another vote for Rick Case Acura. I negotiated a similar price on a WDP 5AT Navi and they were excellent to deal with. No hidden charges and an excellent lease program from American Honda. They also had an excellent selection of cars on their large lot. After reading the comments below, I do have one complaint: I didn't receive any furniture coupons, flashlights or anything else for free. What other complimentary promotions did you receive? Anyway, even without the free items, I still recommend my salesman, Travis Roegan. He was knowledgeable, courteous and didn't push me.

I had the best car buying experience with Dave Kalish when I leased my 2002 TL-S. He is a great guy. Back then he gave me most of the numbers over the phone, so when I went to the dealership I mostly had to sign a few papers, have my credit checked, give the downpayment, and I was on my way.

I looked up the coupon booklet, and anyone buying this month will receive a $1,000 Shopping Spree at City Furniture. They have other promotions as well just for stopping in and taking a test drive, so you really have nothing to lose, especially considering all the people who have had great experiences there.
Good luck

deals deals deals
If you are looking for a 6-sp Manual it will take a bit of luck....hit every dealership you are comfortable driving to to pick up or paying to ship it flat-bed (about $300).
If you want or can live with a 5-sp automatic w/ Navi, call Shelly Drucker (it is a guy) at Delray Acura (Florida) 561-265-0000 x229
He has five in stock and was looking to make deals to move then. I am a die-hard stick-shifter, so I had to pass, but the price he was quoting was less then I am paying because I had to go with HPT's to get my manual in the color I wanted. Otherwise, it would be the same price. They are on the lot ready to deliver. Out the Door around $34,7K
Act fast. He'll be on vacation next week.
He called me up today hoping I was still looking, so I thought I'd do him, and all you forum members, a favor putting you together.
