I've been reading through the forums over the past couple of days, and just signed up this morning. I have a Sony Ericsson T608 telephone because I am a Sprint customer, and this is the only bluetooth phone they offer. Occassionally when I receive an incoming phone call and attempt to answer through the handsfree link, the call will ring though the speakers, but when I go to answer via the button on the steering wheel, the stereo comes back on, and the call is answered but through the telephone itself. I hear voices from my cup holder or pocket, or wherever the phone might be. It seems to happen most when my buddy with a nextel phone calls in. Does anyone else have this problem, or am I doing something wrong? Oh, by the way I love my car.

 

I have this phone. I haven't had it happen when receiving calls, but twice when dialing it's done something similar. Both times, however, I did something a little different. Rather than dial through hands-free, I selected a number from the phone book on the phone, then hit "Call" on the phone. Stereo muted like it was going into HF mode, but then came back on. I had to then use my phone to actually talk to the person. The weird thing is that I've done this same exact method at least once when it worked properly (went through HF).

 

When this happens, try tapping the HFL again and say "Transfer".
