I bought a TLX last year. My 07 TL (105K miles) had been kept in a garage, had covered parking at work, always used Mobil 1, and it did not have a ding on it. Interior was near mint.

My son is a car person, he had bought a "salvage" 04 RSX and fixed it up and drove it 9 years. He has a 92 Miata that he pulled the engine out of, so he could take out his transmission, went into it and replaced a gear that was grinding. Not a master mechanic, and he uses the forums a lot for advice, but he's pretty good. On my old TL, he got a friend to do the timing belt kit installation. He replaced rotors and brake pads (ceramic) and changed shock absorbers. Brand new Bridgestone top of the line touring tires, smooth and quiet (he sells Firestone/Bridgestone tires). He was home this weekend and said the car runs perfectly and after 9 years in the RSX, he is happy as a clam. I am happy also, to know he has a well maintained quality vehicle. He said it could go another 10 years!
