Someone please buy this 04 TL!
Non Navi, AT, A-SPEC, NBP/Parch - 67K miles, $18k

Or don't so it can sit around and I will eventually get it
Nah after having two J series AT's I would definitely get an MT next time...great deal nonetheless.

18K is top dollar for the car. The leather looks fairly worn but 04 was the year that they did not provide good seat support. I know we bluw book value and all but if you go to trade it in I would image they would not give more than 16k tops.

Hell for the right car i might even consider paying above book for it..
That car does not look beat to shit! I don't like the two-tone interior (read faded/replaced back seats), but it probably looks a lot better than the average 04 TL with those miles. It looks ok to me, but I like dark interior.
OP, if you were really considering getting that car, it looks good. Go for it!

Is it the lighting? Or are they really a different color?

IMO it is worth while to travel to find the right car.
I understand what you are saying Mark. I am still curious though, as to if we have any 04 owners here with Camel interior that looks hella better than that? Seriously, do we? One of the reasons why I didn't want Camel or Tan interior was because of fade issues and the knack for showing stains and dirt over time. Plus just normal wear and tear. You are right about the wheels though. I am sure with time I would've noticed that too.
What I do find hard to understand, unless you are a smoker, is how in the hell does the seatbelt get so dirty in cars like that? That has always disgusted me!

I agree about the rear seats...check out this pic, compare the color of the seats to the rear pass. side door or what you can see of the rear part of the center console...to me they look different from the seats, so I don't think it's the lighting, but it's possible I suppose.
yea, the seats are definitely a different color, its not the camera exposure because the headrests are different too LOL. as for the engine being beat up...i cant say, it just looks like someone went crazy with the armor all and let someone touch it. or someone was eating chicken wings
Haha that cat is hilarious. No I was just trying to make a point of a good price, I wasn't contemplating buying it. In my 04 TL I had both the front seat covers replaced at 18k because of the stupid bunching and dents. Werd on the non navi looking like shit, I don't know why they couldn't have made the nn look any better. Almost like getting a tooth knocked out and just leaving a hole in your mouth. Center caps missing is minor. I did wonder to myself "what color is that interior?" because I did notice the camel front and parchment rear, but figured it was the lighting. I might call the dealer and ask them about the backseat just to see what they say. The fact the backseat was most likely replaced and the new one also looks like crap isn't a good thing. The backseat does look beat up, as far as the seatbelts...maybe the last owner didn't shower regularly and rode around shirtless often?
This TL is like some prostitutes, you wanna hit it but you know it's dirty.
MODS: Maybe the thread title should be changed to "Someone please DON'T buy this 04 TL".

My seatbelts are dirty as well.. they were filthy when I got the car, I nee to take the time to get some warm water and soap and clean them up good.. I think the previous owner went a little nuts on hair spray everyday.. the thing is hard in some places lol
