Some Top Speed MID pics
Some pics I took of the MID on the autobahn. Just note the distance traveled and mpg adn time it took on the autobahn. Funny. There are speed zones though so you cant just go all out forever. Also there are speed limits when you are not on the autobahn, check out my mpg when I was driving normal speeds.

I did take those vids of some real tight handling roads in germany going real fast ad also a 0-100 fly by but they are on a dvd disck and I have to figure out how to get them off. Taken witha sony camera borrowed from my friend... She said something abut having to finalize the disc first.. I dont know. I will try to figure it out.
Thanks

That 335i must have needed a driver transplant.
Nice pics, they demonstrate how low mileage is at high speed. I miss Germany (went to high school there, was a great experience).
In any case, thank you for your service and come back from Iraq in one piece, please. We need you alive to mod your TL-S up!

Forogt to mention that I raced one another time. Was going out the gate where I was stationed in Germany and there was a chick driving one and there is a good bt of straightaway out of the gate. It squated down and took off, I was already in second just in case that happened, we got up to 100 before she let off and she didnt pull but I couldnt catch up. So my summary is that the 335i is no punk, you need to have a modded TL-S to even mess with one or you will get blown away but it runs out of steam a little around 135mph.

The difference isn't huge, but it's quantifiable.
I'd have beaten you had I been behind the wheel of the 335i.
The only way you may have beaten the 335i is if you went faster than 144 MPH , which is that car's governed top speed.

Here are CAR AND DRIVER'S 335i coupe test results. Note the acceleration times, which are certainly superior to those of the TL-S. All that was holding the 335i back was its governor. An aftermarket PCM flash can remove that.

Now that's certainly a feeling i've never had the opportunity to experience...the feeling of lawfully hauling ass on the interstate....must be full of adrenaline. Sometimes i pretend i'm on the autobahn when i'm driving the TL.
My friend is about to trade in his s2000 for one of those 335s.
Good shit man, thanks for posting.

Well bro thanks for clarifying that. Just saying that with two seperate 335's one going around 30-100 (never pulled on me, I never gained, perfectly even) and one from 110 or so-150 and didnt really gain on him until 135 adn passed him slowly. So its fairly obvious that my TL-S is competant to stay with a 335 0-130ish and beat them 130-150ish. I hate crap like this. Just like that one bonehead that kept saying that there was no governer on the TL's. I prved him wrong. If only I wasn t deployed I would video me beating a 335 on the bahn.
BUT like several people have mentioned driver skill has a lot to do with it. Dont know if those come in auto or what, maybe they were auto or something.
